This update resolves the "Network DDE Agent Request" security vulnerability in Windows 2000, and is discussed in Microsoft Security Bulletin MS01-007. Download now to increase security and prevent a malicious user from running code to take control of your computer.
Network Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) enables applications on different computers running Windows to share data dynamically, with channels called trusted shares. Trusted shares are managed by a service called the Network DDE Agent. On computers running Windows 2000, the Network DDE Agent runs using the Local System security context, rather than the security context of the user. Because Local System security allows a piece of code to function as part of the operating system, a malicious user, with the ability to run code on the affected computer, could exploit the vulnerability to run commands and programs by using the privileges of the operating system itself. This could allow the malicious user to take virtually any action on the computer.

Sound Crystals is a space where objects with attached sounds can be created. It is a kind of a "pool" where randomly shaped crystals become alive and emit, in a strange and unexpectable way, the sounds attatched to them. The sounds change with the location and movement of the crystals.
The crystals can be controlled by directly interacting with them or from a control panel which allows the user to set different movements, rotations and custom paths of the crystals as well as managing the sounds. The location of the crystal affects the sound produced by it.

re:search is a â��UI elementâ�� application, which means it has no icon in the Dock. While Iâ��m sure some people will hate this, I canâ��t stand having more than 10 or 12 Dock tilesâ��and besides, the global hotkey is there for instant Internet search access. Instead, re:search provides an icon in the menu bar next to Sync Services, the battery meter, Spotlight, and ï¿1⁄4whatever other doohickeys you might have up there.
