Isis Strike is described as a fun, fast-paced and addictive game. As in many games from the SHMUP genre, you shoot down enemy spaceships and collect power-ups to aid you in play. As you fight the enemy, the power-ups will make your weapons and shields more powerful, and they come fast and furious ...but watch out, because so do the enemy, and when you take damage, you don't just lose shielding, but your weapons will weaken too. So you have to keep fighting them hard in order to stay formidable yourself.

The game takes a long time to complete. There are eight campaigns compared to four in the first game, and each has a long list of missions. Your job is to successfully complete all the campaigns assigned to you, as well as every mission that makes up the campaigns. The game was just a warm up. In this game, things will really get hot.
