In addition to the learning experience this provides its also a handy way to start when youre building your own templates instead of starting from scratch.
To use Show Me The Template, run it, selecting the name of the control on the left that youd like to explore. On the right, the list of templates for that control will be shown for the currently selected theme (which you can change to see how a control is rendered in different themes).
The XAML for each of the controls templates is shown in an instance of the WebBrowse control, but you can get the XAML out by right-clicking on the template and choosing View Source. You should be able to paste the XAML into your own custom control styles as a starting place for your custom templates.

The Software Development Kit contains tools, documentation and code samples for developers and designers. To assist with development and design we recommend using Visual Studio 2005 in addition to the Microsoft Expression tools.
The WPF/E? (codename) Software Development Kit, enables you to build web pages and web applications that include rich content such as vector-based graphics, 2D animation, high fidelity text, audio and video and use JavaScript (AJAX) to interact with the page content and your server.
The SDK contains documentation, sample code and tools that can be used by designers and developers. In order to view the application, the user?s browser need to be enhanced with the appropriate WPF/E? (codename) package as linked below.
To assist with the development process we recommend using Visual Studio 2005 in addition to this SDK. To help with design, we recommend using Microsoft Expression Design and Microsoft Expression Blend. In order to integrate the end result with web pages we recommend using Microsoft Expression Web.
