Huffyuv is intended to replace uncompressed YUV as a video capture format. It is fast enough to compress full-resolution CCIR 601 video (720 x 480 x 30fps) in real time as its captured on my machine. Huffyuv also supports lossless compression of RGB data, so it can be used for the output of programs like VirtualDub.
To install Huffyuv, right click on huffyuv.inf and select "Install."
Enhancements:
- * Added "Reduced resolution". This will save your file in HALF the orginal resolution, and upscale the video on the fly. Lossy, but very fast!
- * HuffYUV is now storing interlaced mode in the AVI-file. Now interlaced files are properly decoded!
- * Added MMX optimized YUV -> RGB conversion routines.
- * HuffYUV will now suggest to store RGB32 (RGB with alpha), even if it is disabled. Alpha information will however be removed when on.
- * HuffYUV should now support all resolutions flawlessly. Do however not that it is not recommended to use a resolution that isnt divideable by 8, when using Reduced Resolution, and YUY2 naturally must med divideable by 2.
- * Minor General speedup of some internal routines. Should be a bit faster than older versions.

Debugmode FrameServer is a plugin which will allow Non-linear editing systems (NLE) to do FrameServing, Image Sequence export and AudioServing.
FrameServing and AudioServing are the techniques used to transfer audio/video data from one application to another without doing a full fledged render and temporary files.
Debugmode FrameServer is a plugin for NLEs enabling them to export their timeline audio/video data outside so that other applications can use the timeline directly as input.
Another use of the Frameserver/Audioserver is to serve audio/video data to an application that does not understand the source format. If you have an NLE that can open .MOV files and your MPEG encoder can read only .AVI input files, you can open the .MOV file in your NLE and use Debugmode FrameServer to serve the a/v data to your MPEG encoder. This increases compatibility between applications.
This plugin wil enable you to export the video from your NLE as an Image sequence. Frames can be saved in lossless BMP, TIFF, PNG and high quality JPEG formats.

- Low compression - absolutely lossless mode: the data in RGB format after decompression is bitwise equal to the source data. This mode has the smallest compression ratio.
- Medium compression - works in YUY2 color space. It means if you had some video in one of 16-bit YUV formats (in most cases it is so) then after decompression the data is equal to the source. And if the source data were in 24-bit RGB, then you loose on RGB to YUV conversion. This mode has much better compression ratio.
Also the codec has so called "visually lossless" modes. It means these modes allow some information losses that are visually unnoticeable giving you compression ratio boost. This is done by denoising, so all you really loose is the noise. In many cases image quality increases. - Good compression - differs from the "Medium compression" by having a slight denoising. Visually image stays the same but compression improves.
- High compression - differs from the previous one by stronger denoising. Visually image quality doesnt get worse (in most cases it gets better) and the compression ratio grows further.
- Custom - this mode allows to set the denoising parameters to get wanted compression/quality ratio. Parameters are set in a separate window called by the "Advanced" button.
When compressing interlaced sequences you can turn on the Compressing interlaced movie option. In some cases it improves
compression.

In Denoising area you can set denoising parameters for Custom compression mode.

- Temporal denoising treshold controls the temporal part of denoising. Must be a positive integer number. The "Good compression" mode has this parameter set to 30, the "High compression" mode - 50.
- Spatial denoising intensity controls the spatial part of denoising. Must be a positive real number. The "Good compression" mode has this parameter set to 4, the High one - 20.
In Delta-Frames area you can set up codecs use of previous frames.

- Enable Delta-Frames turns on delta-frames use. If you turn it off, all frames will be key-frames. This will cause growth of file size, so dont turn it off unless youre sure you need to.
- Force Key-Frames every N frames tells codec to insert a key-frame at least once an N frames.
In Motion Estimation you can control compression speed and ratio.
You can use one of presets or set the following options manually.

- FullSearch turns on use of slow but precise algorithm of motion compensation. It makes compression much slower but much better.
- After DVD or DivX: turning this option on allows you to compress better video which passed through a lossy codec.
- PP-frame - search in pre-previous frame. Makes compression a bit slower but better. Recommended to keep it turned on.

FF Player is optimized for fast switching between video files by partly pre-loading the next file before switching. Due to the design of FF Player, the startup and shutdown times are very low, once the .Net Framework is initialized.
FF Player features advanced explorer integration. You can select multiple files and open them all directly (by pressing return for example). In comparison to most other players this will happen extremely fast if the player is already running and you wont have the player started multiple times simultanously.
