Segetronics AutoShutDown can be a very useful tool which helps you save on your energy bill and increase the useful life of your PC.

You can set auto shut down to switch off your PC after 3 hours knowing fully well youd be asleep but preventing your PC from staying on for more than is necessary.

Auto shut down can be set to shut down your PC after a task has completed.

In conjunction with your PCs wake up alarm, your PC can switch on automatically to update your antivirus software and then shut down automatically without your intervention.
