XRatel PerfMon OPC/DDE Server is a tool designed to monitor MS Windows computers using WMI technology (local or remote monitoring), providing valuable information for system administrators to optimize the efficiency and setup of computer servers and workstations.
XRatel PerfMon OPC/DDE Server can get from a computer more than 1 million different variables, including:
· many performance counters as disk usage, memory consumption and CPU load
· hardware information, as cooling fan speed, CPU temperature and memory bank status
· operational system information, as running version, installed updates, registry entries and logged users
· application specific information, if it is available (depends on the application).
Statiscal tags are automatically generated, as the health tag, which expresses the overall status of a specific computer. Users can also create custom tags that calculates any expression involving WMI variables.
With all this information, powerful diagnostics are easily achieved. It also monitors the downtime and access time of unmanageable network devices.
Computer Health
XRatel PerfMon OPC/DDE Server gathers WMI data from computers and calculates the computer health for a specific computer. This tag summarizes the computer overall status, considering the most important indicators, such as CPU, memory and disk usage and the number of running process.
XRatel PerfMon OPC/DDE Server also allows the user to establish the importance of each indicator. End users can easily check the status of many servers and workstations using this feature.

XRatel PerfMon OPC/DDE Server main goal is to give real-time network monitoring ability for your OPC or DDE client-server applications.
